Closing Out Our Time In Skopje
For the last day of this journey we had an opportunity to see some of the other cultural aspects of Skopje. We started our day at Kali, where the journey began. We had our worship time enjoying the gift God has given us in this day as the sky was clear and the breeze was warm. From Kali, we went to experience the Old Town and City Center. As April 1st is celebrated with children in costumes, it was an interesting day seeing Spiderman, Batman, some Ninja Turtles and a few Princesses as well. After our time in the city was done, we enjoyed true Macedonian food as we broke bread one last time with the team members here. We ended the day with a debriefing session where we had a chance to share our appreciation for the work that the team here does every day. We will leave tomorrow with many experiences which should help us grow stronger in our walk with the Lord.
